These are 2 pics of the piece I am working on right now. It is all hand stitched and as this is new to me it takes time to get to the point of being complete. I love doing this slow work, which was inspired by some wonderful textile artist I found online.
I even was lucky to buy one of Jude Hill´s creations. You can see "A few magic tricks" here and read her blog "Spirit Cloth" here. I love her work and following her thoughts on her blog is something I am looking forward to every morning.

hey i so love how this hand stitching is catching on.... it will make the world a more thoughtful place.... and thanks for the nice reference....
Your work looks beautiful... all the textures that you are creating with the various stitches... just wonderful... and the colors make me hopeful for spring!
Great stitches! I love the way the seed stitches go over the fabric. They make so much extra texture. The colours are just wonderful.
This is a joyous piece.
Wonderful work! Hand stitching is such a great way to add texture. Love your squares on squares and windows!
what beautiful colours .. overlays and stitching make a woderful seeded adventure across the fabric ..
OH lovely!!! Seed stitch is my personal fave at the moment and i love the way it integrates things when it wanders over everything--your squares are grounding but floating at the same time--beautiful!
Karin, I love the stitiching you are dong...hand work is so relaxing and satisfying! Have you ever looked at Dijanne's blog and/or her work?? She does fantastic hand stitiching. check her out if you haven't (http://origidij.blogspot.com/). Again, VERY nice job.
Hallo Karin,
herzlichen Dank für deine Rückmeldung. Welches Buch kannst du mir empfehlen, was sich mit Embellishing befasst?
